    大伙好!今天我说课的内容是全日制普通高级中学教科书(必学)高中一年级英语第一册上unit12 Art and Literature的reading部分。本单元是高中一年级学生在学会了本学期语言常识后的一个沉淀,主要讲的是文化与艺术,在扩展学生常识,提升学生的自己修养,具备要紧用途。而我所要讲的阅读harry potter小说(电影)是艺术的一种要紧形式,在社会上非常受青睐。通过对这篇文章的理解,能培养学生对文化和艺术的兴趣。

    2、教学目的

    依据大纲的需要,我将教学目的拟定如下:

    1、 认知目的

    通过阅读材料使学生获悉英国作家罗琳的系列小说《Harry Potter》的内容,同时学习in trouble, come across, fight against, succeed, share, believe in等短语和单词。

    2、情感目的

    通过对主人公harry potter的生活,学习,性格和信念的认知,启发学生怎么样面对困难,坚定信念从而终克服困难。

    3、技能目的

    培养和提升学生的阅读能力,使其熟练地学会运用略读与精读的技能,有效地提取信息。

    以上为本课时的教学目的。

    3、教学重点与难题

    1、教学重点是使学生更好的理解课文,并剖析used to do, be used to do, be used to doing 等短语。

    2、教学难题是正确理解Where someone is born and what a person looks like is not as important as what he or she grows up to be.

    4、教学办法

    教学办法是以问答方法帮助学生浏览整篇文章。以略读,详读的办法知道文章的主旨和细节。

    5、教学方法

    教学工具主要以ppt、图片和教科书为主。

    6、教学程序

    Step1、导入

    第一向学生展示一张关于harry potter 的电影海报,再结合pre-reading的问题,导入新课,激起学生的兴趣。

    Step2、略读

    让学生第一略读课文找出每段的主旨句,并回答一个问题。让学生从整体上把握文章,使得学生知道了文章的体裁,把握了文章的结构和段落大意。培养学生迅速阅读的能力,让他们在有限的时间内读文章,作习题,提升了学习效率。在阅读过程中引导学生关注每一个段落的开头和结尾部分。

    Step3、细读

    学生详读课文,捕捉细节,并结合post-reading的问题回答一些细节问题,获得更多的信息,培养学生借助关键字发现细节问题的能力。

    Step4、语法解说

    让学生了解课文后,划出他们不知道的词,短语,句子。把重点的词句在大屏幕上展示,并解说,同时写在黑板上,重点剖析以下句子:Where someone is born and what a person looks like is not as important as what he or she grows up to be .

    以此培养学生自主的发现问题,并主动解决问题的能力。充分调动学生学习的积极性,提升学习效率。

    Step5、巩固训练

    完成书本上的true or false 训练,与对harry potter的启示,检查学生对文章的学会。

    step6、作业

    为了扩展学生对Harry potter 这一内容的理解,可以建议有条件的学生观看Harry potter 的电影。并写一篇影评。

    7、板书设计

    黑板正上方写题目harry potter,左侧写课文的主要结构,中间写一些有关信息,右侧写语法要点。

    本课为新标准英语(小学一年级起始用)第七册第九模块第一单元,第一单元教学主题为What happened to you? 本节课学生将学习用“What happened to you?”来提问来询问其他人出了什么事情,并能依据肯定的场景来回答,摔倒,受伤,摔下来等并学习短语a bike ride, 和thirsty, watermelon, put这几个单词。

    学生已经学过过去式,对fell over,hurt都比较熟知,通过提问课件展示学生比较熟知的语言环境向学生提问What happened to you? 让学生先用这两个词来回答再引入到课文。

    依据英语课程标准,遵循以学生为中心,以兴趣为支点,以交流为目的,以现实生活为情境的原则,使用任务型的教学模式,教师多引导,学生多参与,体验,交流,合作,主体性得到充分进步,综合语言能力得到提升。同时,层层推进,牵引学生的兴趣。

    三.教法剖析

    学生学习本文时,我设计了一些任务,通过感知,体验,参与合作等方法,使学生的主动地位得到充分体现。如:需要学生阅读文章,回答问题,填写表格等,这一单元以绘画为主题,借助多媒体展示影片有关图片,帮助学生用我们的话概括主要内容,提升课堂教学效率,增强学生学习兴趣.

    Good morning, ladies and gentleman. Today, I feel honored to have the chance to share my ideas about how to teach reading.

    In the reading process, I will focus on students’ long-term development and enable them to use proper reading skills and strategies. In other words, students are guided to read efficiently and independently.

    Section 1 Analysis of the teaching material

    The selected teaching material is a magazine article taken from the Project section of Module 11, Unit 2 of Advance with English. The article is about British students who take a gap year, which is intended to develop the theme of the unit, that is, Getting a job. After analyzing it carefully, I find the article has two unique characteristics. First, it’s a long passage with 688 words, much more than the usual texts. Second, it deals with a new TOPic, that is, a gap year. The TOPic is unfamiliar to most students.

    Section 2 Indentifying the teaching aims

    based on the analysis of the teaching material, I have chosen the following as the teaching aims of my lesson:

    The 1st aim: Students learn the skills and strategies to read a prolonged text.

    The 2nd aim: Students get a better understanding of what a gap year is.

    The 3rd aim: Students are encouraged to figure out the implied meaning.

    The 4th aim: Students are familiar with various expressi or approaches to express the same thing or idea.

    Section 3 Teaching procedures

    In order to achieve the teaching aims mentioned above, I decide to choose guided reading and Task-based Teaching as the main teaching approach. With the teaching methods, I can guide students to use effective reading strategies to comprehend the text, solve problems and complete different tasks. The teaching procedures include four parts. They’re getting ready, focusing on main facts, reading between the lines and responding the text.
